Lily's Well and the Lily's Well Bonus Pack are currently available on Itch.io! The game itself is completely free, but the bonus pack is $10.00 USD for anyone wanting to support me.

Once approved by Valve, Lily's Well will also be on Steam with Steam Achievements. The bonus pack will also be available for purchase as DLC for the same price as on Itch.

The Newgrounds web build for Lily's Well will be coming in mid-January. I hope you all look forward to it!

Yeah, I hate to say it, but Lily's Well isn't going to be out by Halloween. All of the coding is done, but it's all about getting the art done, as well as testing. I'm making the game by myself and since I'm not really an artist, stuff like this takes longer.

The other big issue was medically related, but that's all I'm willing to share. It's not covid and it's going to get taken care of real soon, but it really did stunt how much work I could do in a day.

I'm going to set the new goal at November 5th, but it all still depends on when I can get over my medical stuff (the wonders of only having access to a mail-in pharmacy).

Here's a little preview for those who've read this far :)

Lily's Well should be out by mid-October, just in time for spooky season. Since it's just me working on the game, most of the final art is gonna get saved for last, development wise. Still, I have some things from this horror project to show you all.

As an example of stuff still using temporary assets, here's Lily in the unfinished kitchen with its whiteboxed bg for collision detection.

I want to put more stuff on here, so I'm working on a short little game called Lily's Well. It'll be a more straight forward adventure game, but with plenty of endings to get.

Like with I Cannot Drown, I'm going to use heavy stylization with this project, but this time it's going for more of an old computer game feel. Kind of like a game I'd find on accident as a kid and then have nightmares about for years. This project should be out by end of this month/early October.

By the way, if you donate to my Patreon you can get your name in the credits or even get a little in-game cameo for you or your own original character. There's also a joke tier that nobody should donate to because it would require me to leave my bell tower and look for bugs.

I Cannot Drown has been updated in order to fix a bug that let players reach one of the endings way earlier than intended. It can still be played here.

I wish this update was a bigger one, but there always has to be a bug that gets discovered by someone else that I don't notice until after release haha. I am very grateful for everyone's response to the game though. Thanks to everyone who's played so far! :)

I've used Newgrounds since I was a dumb and edgy elementary schooler. Made some shitty flash games in middle school that (thankfully) never made it past judgement. Now I'm a grown ass adult with a better sense of quality control that wants to contribute again.

While I Cannot Drown has been in Itch.io for a while, going for a Newgrounds build was a big motivator to add on to the game, especially with the recent resurgence in the website. Now the game has its endings implemented and I can go back to my other horror project.

I hope my renewed time here will be a good one. :)
